Arrival at Melitene

During his later journey into Roman territory, Mashtots brought many disciples to Melitene and entrusted them to Bishop Acacius. A recent scholarly reconstruction dates Mashtots's second journey to Roman territory to 422–423; 422 is used as the representative year.
