The World Is Made of Journeys
Every human life is a path through time and place.
Kings and wanderers, scientists and soldiers, artists and explorers — all have crossed the same Earth, leaving traces behind them. Cities rose around them. Empires vanished. Borders moved. Roads became ruins, and ruins became forgotten names upon a map.
Humanity Atlas is an interactive map of human history, built to show where people were, when they were there, and how their journeys crossed the changing world around them.
Travel through time to follow the lives of historical figures across cities, kingdoms and continents. See where they were born, where they travelled, where they worked, fought, discovered, created and died. Move the map through different historical epochs and watch individual lives become part of the greater geography of human history.
For history did not happen in chapters.
It happened in places.
And every place has a time.
