Kidnapped from Havana hotel

On the eve of the Cuban Grand Prix, Cuban revolutionaries kidnapped Fangio from his Havana hotel; he was later released unharmed. The source dates the kidnapping to 23 February 1958; the hotel is identified in contemporary accounts as the Hotel Lincoln.
