Birth in Mecca
· Mecca, Hejaz, Arabia
Wikimedia Commons · Public domain · file The mainstream Sunni chronology places Fatima’s birth in Mecca in 605. Other chronological traditions date her birth later. Her birth date is disputed: the same source reports Twelver dates of about 612 or 615 CE. Coordinates represent central Mecca, not an identified birth house.
